My name is Leevi, I am a 5 yr. old little boy – who has endured more medical procedures and difficulties than the average boy my age.
When I was born, my mommy knew that I was going to be born into this world with some medical problems; but little did she know life for her and I we’re going to be quite challenging for both her and I. My mommy has learned alot about my complications such as the following:
- Situs Inversus
- Tricuspid Atresia
- Dextrocardia
- Tethered Cord
- Loss of hearing in my left ear
- 3 holes in my heart & Single Ventricle
- Bronchiectasis
- Kartagener Syndrome
Although I have a long list of medical challenges, I am a very strong, caring and loving little boy – just like my mommy! As time goes on, I know I will still have many more challenges – but with the grace of God I know I will be strong and someday everyone shall be blessed to hear my testimony. I am a miracle from God.
I have started preschool and things are more challenging for me, not only medically but emotionally as well. Mommy, my doctors and I think that a medical dog would be a great help for me to help me through these rough yet challenging times which I have no choice but to endure to become a successful person in these hard times!
